On the 13th of April 2004, a sit-in took place in Ain el Remeneh on the memory of the Lebanese War titled “Free Dr. Geagea to turn the last leaf of the civil war”. Before the event started a small group of people tried to disrupt the sit in and tried to force the LF members to leave but after some compromises the sit-in was allowed to take place. The Lebanese anthem was played followed by the LF anthem at the start of the event which included many representatives from the media including LBC, NTV, and Al Diyar. Among the attendees present were Sami and Nadim Gemayel, and the LF responsibles from Ain el Remeneh. A small mass took place and hundreds of candles were lit. A huge Samir Geagea poster was also shown to the crowd to their amazement. The poster will be carried on Sunday at the march (massira) to Bkerki.
