The mass today was incredible. It was a great and successful event. Over 35,000 people attended, with the roads leading up to Harissa all packed with busses and cars full of LF supporters. Hundreds of people walked most of the way up under a burning sun, passing the various army check points that were put up to harass supporters, and tear off the pictures of Dr. Geagea and Sheikh Bachir Gemayel.

Alongside the families of the martyrs and the Lebanese Forces Supporters who came from all over Lebanon, many guests attended the mass including, Solange Gemayel, Nadim Gemyel, Sami Gemayel, Fouad Abou Nader, Dory Chamoun head of NLP, Nadim Lteif representative of the FPM, Former head of Communist party Georges Hawi, Former MP Gabriel el Murr, MP Ghassan Mkhaibir, MP Mansour el Bon, MP Fares Saaid, MP Georges Freim, and many others… Patriarch Cardinal Mar Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir was represented by Father Chikrallah Harb, and his word was read by Father Boutros Tawk. After the mass, Setrida Geagea read the words of Dr. Samir Geagea in front of the thousands of supporters who were cheering the freedom of their leader.

In the end, hoards of cars with LF members holding LF flags sitting outside the windows yelling out Lebanese Forces slogans were seen scattered all over the highways.
